Prithviraj Sukumaran`s L2: Empuraan has created enough and more buzz among fans. With Mohanlal leading the film, the stellar cast has kept the fans waiting with bated breath.
One of the most anticipated movies of the year, L2: Empuraan, is nearing its release date. With the movie releasing this Friday, the makers dropped a new poster with a mystery man on it. While some say he looks like Aamir Khan, others debate it is Hollywood star Rick Yune.
On March 25, Prithviraj shared a new poster on X (formerly Twitter) with a man wearing a black ensemble on it. The man`s back faced the camera, and his shirt had a red dragon printed on it. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “2 days to go. L2E in theatres worldwide from March 27.”
This sparked curiosity and generated excitement among fans. Have a look.

L2: Empuraan new poster: Aamir Khan or Rick Yune?
The internet was set ablaze as netizens couldn`t stop guessing who the actor on the poster was. While some debated it was Aamir Khan, others guessed it could be Hollywood sensation Rick Yune.
One fan commented, “It’s Aamir Khan; look at his ears.” Another wrote, “It’s Aamir Khan for sure. Even his sister is playing an important role in the film.” A third comment read, “If Aamir Khan is the villain, the face-off will be huge.”

Others suggested it might not be Khan but the popular Hollywood actor. One user wrote, “It’s not Aamir; it’s Rick Yune, confirmed!”
Another user took to AI Grok and asked, “Does this photo bear a major resemblance to Rick Yune?” However, the AI app denied the possibility of it being either of the actors.
It suggested, "The "L2: Empuraan" poster shows a man, likely Mohanlal, from behind in a suit facing a dragon. Without a visible face, a major resemblance to Rick Yune is unlikely. The style may evoke Yune`s action roles, but physical likeness is unclear."

The upcoming Malayalam action thriller is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy. It is the second instalment of the infamous saga Lucifer, which released in 2019.
The film is headlined by Mohanlal, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Vivek Oberoi, and Abhimanyu Singh.
