Jr. NTR Birthday Announcement: RRR Star`s Next Film With Prasanth Neel to Start Filming in August
May 20 marks the birthday of popular South Indian actor NT Rama Rao Jr. The actor, who is also known as the Man of Masses, made a special announcement on his birthday. Talks about him collaborating with KGF director Prasanth Neel were already known; however, there had been no update about it for a while.
Jr. NTR, who turned 41 today, made a special announcement about his upcoming film in collaboration with Prashanth Neel. Prasanth is known for making films like KGF Chapter 1, KGF Chapter 2, and Salaar. Both the films were box office successes in 2018, 2022, and 2023.

The production company for the upcoming film, which is currently titled `NTRNeel`, shared an announcement post on their X handle. Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film, are known for backing some of the biggest blockbusters in the Telugu film industry. These films include the Pushpa series, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, Rangasthalam, Uppena, Mathu Vadalara, and Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
The announcement post shared by the producers read, “Happy Birthday to the `MAN OF MASSES` @tarak9999—Team #NTRNeel. Shoot begins in August 2024. Brace yourself for a powerhouse project. #HappyBirthdayNTR #PrashanthNeel @NTRArtsOfficial.”

It is being reported that director Prasanth Neel is in the last leg of writing the film’s script, which will go on floors this August. Although this was not the original plan, Before the announcement, it was reported that Jr. NTR would be working on Devara: Part 2, as the first part was already wrapped and is currently in post-production. But with his birthday announcement, it can be concluded that the actor will simultaneously work on both Devara: Part 2 and NTRNeel.
Apart from the above-mentioned film, Jr. NTR is currently busy filming for his Bollywood debut, War 2. The Ayan Mukerji directorial will star Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham in an intense action thriller. Secondly, the actor also has Devara: Part 1 coming out on October 10 this year. Directed by Kotrala Siva, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko in supporting roles.
Just last week, the RRR actor was seen in Hyderabad at a voting centre to cast his vote amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Despite having a busy schedule shooting for War 2 in Mumbai, the actor flew to his hometown in time to vote.
