If there is one Punjabi singer who has represented the entire state with his talent and incredible performance, it has to be Diljit Dosanjh. The actor who is taking the internet by storm with his role as Amar Singh Chamkila in the Netflix film has yet again become controversy's favorite child.

While he has always kept his personal life away from the limelight, some reports suggest Diljit Dosanjh is married to an Indian-American woman who stays in the United States with their son. However, the singer has never commented on the same.

As soon as the news of him being married broke, a picture of Diljit with a mystery woman went viral. Multiple Instagram pages and fan accounts claim her to be the singer's wife.

Who is Diljit Dosanjh's wife?

After the mystery woman's pictures with the Chamkila actor have been doing the rounds on the internet, many believe her to be his wife. However, she finally broke silence and denied any relationship with Dosanjh.

Taking it to her Instagram account, the woman slammed the netizens and social media for spreading fake news and maliciously using her pictures as Diljit Dosanjh's wife on the internet.

Sharing a rather lengthy note on Reddit, she wrote, 'Diljit's wife's photo on the internet is not of a woman called Sandeep Kaur. It's me!'

In the note, she explained the story behind her picture with the singer-actor and said she is not looking for any fame by being falsely associated with Dosanjh. While her identity has not been revealed yet, it seems the mystery woman is rather enraged by the rumors.

'A while ago, I worked as a model and did a music video shoot called 'Shoon Shaan' for the movie Mukhtiar Chadha with Diljit Dosanjh. Ever since then, somehow or another, I was made aware by friends and relatives that my image was being used maliciously to be 'Diljit Dosanjh's wife' on the internet," she wrote.

Her note further read, "At first I laughed it off as I had no idea how this happened, and I did attempt some takedown requests across YouTube and Quora. I never thought the image would remain so pervasive for so many years. This news continues to go viral every so often, and here we are again with my image being used on a lot of TikTok's and Instagram posts recently. I just want to clear the air that this picture is of me and I am not Sandeep Kaur.'

She then requested all the users to "please just report or comment and let the public know this is not his wife. I'm not looking for any internet fame or anything like that.'

Diljit Dosanjh hasn't commented on the rumors yet.
