Speaking of which, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is back in the limelight again, and this time it is the original Roshan Singh Sodhi, aka Gurucharan Singh, who has been missing for the past four days.
According to reports, the actor has been missing for the past four days and was last spotted at Delhi airport. For the uninitiated, Gurucharan Singh is the actor who played the role of the first Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
His character was filled with life, and he usually came up with easy solutions for several problematic situations. In the show, he was married to Jennifer Mistry, aka Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi.
According to ETimes, the complaint was filed by Gurucharan`s father, who revealed the 50-year-old actor had left for Delhi at 8:30 a.m. on April 22 to depart for Mumbai.
“He didn’t reach Mumbai, nor has he returned home, and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable, and we had been searching for him, but now he has been missing,” the report read.
Jennifer Mistry, who played Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi, said, “I have no idea. I have not been in touch with him since June 2023. I hope he is safe and sound.” Neha Mehta, who played Anjali Mehta, said, “Only prayers."
Mandar Chandwadkar, who essays the role of Bhide in the show, revealed some interesting details, saying, “It’s really surprising for me as well. He keeps traveling between Delhi and Mumbai."

"Last time we met at a wedding in December, it was Dilip Joshi’s son’s wedding. We had a nice time together, but since then, we have not been in touch. Just hoping and praying all is well,” he further added.
Gurucharan Singh was last seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He left the show due to his father`s illness. Further details are awaited.
