Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release: Over 20,000 Tickets Sold For Harshvardhan Rane Film

One of the most awaited re-releases, Sanam Teri Kasam is all set to hit the theatres almost a decade later. Fans and moviegoers are excited to watch the romantic drama on the big screens. For the uninitiated, the 2016 release was a box-office disappointment but later garnered massive attention and love for OTT.
While the film failed to perform during its initial release, it seems to be passing with flying colors this time, as per what the advance booking indicates.
The Harshvardhan Rane-Mawra Hocane film reportedly sold over 20,000 tickets on the first day in the top national chains of the country during its advance bookings. Some portals suggest that the film has already crossed as many as 39,000 tickets.

The numbers are significantly high and are even surpassing new releases like Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor`s Loveyapa. With the ticket price kept at a minimal cost, the first-day collection of Sanam Teri Kasam should be close to 2 crore.
Meanwhile, trade analysts and box-office experts suggest Himesh Reshammiya`s Badass Ravi Kumar will open at 5 crore, while Loveyapa might see just 1-2 crore on the opening day.

The exciting news was shared by the lead actor Harshavardhan Rane himself on social media. He took to Instagram and wrote, "Back by popular demand! Sanam Teri Kasam is set to steal hearts again! Re-releasing in theatres on 7th Feb—get ready to laugh, cry, and fall in love all over again!"
The re-release is scheduled for February 7, a perfect time that aligns with Valentine`s week, making it ideal for fans to revisit the iconic love story of Inder and Saru.

The makers of the romantic drama have announced the sequel of Sanam Teri Kasam ahead of its re-release. It will continue the journey of Inder and Saru`s romance, promising to explore the next chapter.
However, what remains unclear is whether the Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane will return as the leading actress.
Helmed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, it will be interesting to see if the film can compete with successful re-releases like Jab We Met, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, and Tumbbad.
