Officer On Duty OTT: Here`s Where You Can Watch The Malayalam Crime Thriller?

Officer On Duty on Netflix
One of the most anticipated OTT releases, Officer On Duty, is finally streaming on Netflix. The film is now streaming on OTT after seeing a successful theatrical release last month. Helmed by Jithu Ashraf, the film stars Kunchacko Boban in the lead.
Along with its original language, Malayalam, the film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, with subtitles available in English. The movie is 2 hours and 14 minutes long.
Netflix knows how to entice its viewers by giving a thrilling description that reads, “During a routine case for counterfeit jewellery, a demoted police officer unexpectedly steers his investigation towards a dangerous criminal syndicate.”
Along with Boban, the film also stars Priyamani and Jagdish in prominent roles.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Kunchacko Boban said that his performance in Officer On Duty has been the best so far. He also mentioned how the roles offered to him have evolved.
“I do believe my performance in Officer on Duty is my best," he said, adding, “It’s only when I consciously decided to experiment unabashedly that I found real success. Luckily in the last 10 years, my directors started offering me roles that no one believed I could do."
"My characters in Enna than case Kodu, Bougainvillaea, and Officer on Duty are roles that no one would have dared to give me 10 years ago. I’m determined to make these different roles work, and I’m loving this phase in my career when I’m getting these challenging roles,” the actor concluded.

The Malayalam crime thriller received rave reviews during its theatrical release. While some called it an edge-of-the-thriller experience, others revealed the twists and turns were highly unexpected.
Film critic Baradwaj Rangan took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “#KunchackoBoban gives a strong central performance in #JithuAshraf’s #OfficerOnDuty, and the technical departments pitch in, too. But the writing remains superficial.”
