Met Gala 2024: List of All the Indians who Walked the Red Carpet this Year
The Met Gala 2024 red carpet event took place on the evening of May 6 in New York, USA. Multiple Indian celebrities and entrepreneurs graced the event in dazzling outfits to represent our country at one of fashion’s biggest nights. Here’s a list of all the Indian attendees at the Met Gala 2024.
Alia Bhatt is a Bollywood actress, critically acclaimed for her roles in films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Raazi. The actress wore a beautiful mint green custom Sabyasachi saree for the event. The saree was styled by her all-time designer, Anaita Shroff Adajania. The saree featured a 23-foot-long pallu and was studded with real gems. Alia wore beautiful emerald rings and a studded headdress to complete her princessy look.
Isha Ambani is the daughter of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani and the Managing Director of Reliance Retail. She walked the Met Gala red carpet in a couture saree gown designed by Rahul Mishra. Isha was styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, and her outfit featured a long floral trail to match the ‘Garden of Time’ theme.

Multitalented actor, producer, director, and writer Mindy Kaling entered the Met Gala 2024 in a stunning architectural gown. The champagne-coloured gown was designed by Gaurav Gupta. The 45-year-old comedian and actress was born and brought up in the USA by Indian immigrant parents.
Bridgerton star Simone Ashley entered the event in a cutout navy blue dress. Ashley’s Met Gala red carpet gown was designed by Prabal Gurung. Simone Ashley is an Indian-origin actress who has worked in notable Netflix series like the high school drama Sex Education and the Regency-era fiction drama Bridgerton.

Natasha is the Executive Director at the Serum Institute of India. She walked the Met Gala’s red carpet in a custom design by Maison Margiela`s Artisanal Collection, designed by John Galliano. Her outfit was a strappy white bodycon dress paired with a statement headdress.
Mona Patel is an Indian-origin entrepreneur and businesswoman who has lived in the United States for a long time. She was seen at the Met Gala in a beautiful Law Roach design, featuring a metallic design adorned with butterflies.
Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist Sudha Reddy graced the red carpet in a stunning Tarun Tahiliani gown. She paired her outfit with a 180-carat necklace and a Chanel bag. Sudha Reddy is the director of MEIL, a business conglomerate based in Hyderabad.
Ambika Mod, the actress who starred in the 2024 film ‘One Day’ also walked the Met Gala 2024 red carpet. The young actress was seen at the Met Gala for the first time this year in a monochrome black and white gown designed by Loewe.
