His debut film as a director was F.A.L.T.U in 2011.

Remo married his sweetheart Lizelle, who was also a background dancer with him during his period of struggle.

He has acted with bit roles in Aflatoon -1997 and Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities -2004

He worked as an assistant to choreographer Ahmed Khan before marking his debut with Sonu Nigams music album, Deewana.

Remo got his first break in Ram Gopal Vermas Rangeela as a background dancer. Infact, the first shot of the famous song, Ho Ja Rangeela Re features his close up.

He ran his own dancing classes under the name Super Brats in Charni Road, Mumbai.

Interestingly, Remo is not a trained dancer. He learnt dancing by observing Michael Jackson in his songs and would implement his moves with a twist.

His actual name is Ramesh Gopi Nair.

Celebrated choreographer and reality show judge, Remo DSouza was recently awarded the National Award for his mesmerizing choreography in the song, Deewani Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansalis magnum opus, Bajirao Mastani.
