A new song from the drama series is out, and it is winning hearts.

Sonkashi Sinha, who plays a key role in Heeramandi, is seen dancing her heart out in the new song, Tilasmi Bahein. While the first track of the series, Sakal Ban, celebrated heralding spring, this one has the actress oozing in golden glory.

Tilasmi Bahein shows Sonakshi Sinha being the life of the party as she grooves in a stunning golden saree. Seemingly, she plays the lead antagonist of the film.

About Heeramandi's new song, Tilasmi Bahein

With the Dabangg actress taking center stage in the song, she is seen dancing her heart out at a party. In the music video, Sonakshi can be seen surrounded by a sea of people, mostly men, who groove along with her.

Her energy and moves are highly contagious. The text that flashes on the video reads, "Get ready for the spell of Tilasmi Bahein." For the uninitiated, tilasmi in English means enchanting or something that casts a magical spell.

The music video ends with a glimpse of Aditi Rao Hydari, who looks seemingly disappointed at seeing Sonakshi. The latter looks no happier either, as she throws away her glass filled with alcohol.

The Lootera actress and Bhansali productions shared a collaboration post on Instagram as they unveiled the new song from Heeramandi.

The caption read, "She moves like magic welcome to the world of Fareedan. Tilasmi Bahein is out now.Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar iscoming on May 1st, only on Netflix."

Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar marks the first ever collaboration between the actor and the filmmaker. In an interview with PTI last week, Sonakshi Sinha opened up about her experience working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the magic of his larger-than-life sets.

Mentioning how the director had created a dreamy world, she said, 'We didn't want to come out of his world it was dreamy, stunning, and it was that captivating. For us as actors, it was an experience that we had never had before."

'The takeaway from working with him was that no matter how good you think you are, he will always get something better out of you," the actress further added.

Bhansali's first ever OTT release revolves around how the courtesans in Lahore were once the reigning queens. It shows the heartbreaking story of how Heeramandi, once a thriving region, was forced to become a red-light area due to the brutal partition.

Heeramandi releases on May 1 on Netflix. It also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh in prominent roles.
