Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor were once the cutest couple in Bollywood. You must be living under a rock if you are not aware of the two dating and even getting engaged. While Abhishek and Karishma shared a charismatic chemistry on-screen, we`re not sure if we could say the same about their off-screen situation. Let`s revisit the time producer Suneel Darshan revealed the real reason for Abhishek and Karisma`s breakup.
He said they were all set to get married, and the filmmaker had even attended their engagement. However, Karisma and Abhishek were somehow never meant to be, as there was constant bickering on the sets and even after. "They were really not the ‘made for each other’ kind. There was constant bickering. Maybe that’s how some people are. I always wondered if they are really the ‘made for each other’ kind of pair. Abhishek is a sweet fellow. Lolo (Karisma’s nickname) is a very nice person too. But maybe some things are destined,” Suneel said.

In a recent tragic update, Karisma Kapoor`s ex-husband and industrialist Sunjay Kapur passed away in an unfortunate accident in London just a few days ago. Karisma, along with her children and sister, Kareena Kapoor, attended his last rites held by the family in Delhi.

About Karisma-Abhishek`s Relationship
Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor worked only on one film together, which was Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya. The producer of the 2002 release, Suneel Darshan, got candid about the ex-couple`s past and revealed the real reason why the two couldn`t make their relationship work. He blamed their lack of chemistry and understanding.He said they were all set to get married, and the filmmaker had even attended their engagement. While Abhishek married the love of his life, Aishwarya Rai, Karisma tied the knot with businessman Sunjay Kapur.
