Ranveer Singh`s Dhurandhar 2 gets a release date
The much-anticipated Dhurandhar is out in cinemas today, and the internet is roaring with positive reviews. While some are calling it Ranveer Singh`s career-best performance, others are lauding how the entire cast came together to narrate a gripping and intense story.
After URI: The Surgical Strike, Aditya Dhar is back with yet another spy thriller drama that promises to keep you on the edge of your seats. Amid the speculation of it being a two-part series, Dhurandhar 2 gets a release date.
For the uninitiated, the film is based on Operation Lyari in Pakistan. R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt bring in the extra dose of drama.
Dhurandhar 2 release date
When the trailer of Dhurandhar was unveiled, little did fans expect it to be a two-series film. However, a month before its release, speculations about the makers releasing the second part later in 2026 started floating.

Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who also plays a prominent role in the film, confirmed that the Aditya Dhar directorial will be divided into two parts, with the second releasing early next year.
Dhurandhar, which is running successfully in cinemas now, ends with a tease of part two, confirming its release date. It will see a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. It is the festive period of Eid.
Dhurandhar to clash with these movies
While the first instalment was a solo release, giving it space to dominate the box office, the second part of the Ranveer Singh starrer will clash with some big releases.
March 19, 2026, will see not one but three releases together – Dhurandhar 2, Ajay Devgn`s Dhamaal 4, and Toxic, headlined by Yash.
Dhamaal 4 brings back the iconic combination of Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaffrey. As for the much-awaited South release, it stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
Additionally, rumours of the Salman Khan starrer Battle of Galwan releasing around the same time have also raised intrigue.
