Arshad Warsi are spotted together, speculation about them shooting for the film does the rounds on the internet. A similar rumor started again when the two actors were spotted dressed as their characters, Munna and Circuit.
What made the speculation even stronger was Raju Hirani's presence as
Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi hugged each other. However, you're in for disappointing news. The two actors reunited for an ad shoot for a hospital. Hirani was the ad director.
The little clip of the two reuniting as
Munna and Circuit gave all Bollywood fans a little hope of the third installment of Munna Bhai being made after 17 years. However, the two were roped in for an ad and not for the film's shoot. A source close to the development confirmed the same.
'There is no film in the making. They shot for a commercial for a hospital, and the BTS video was released online, which started the rumors,' said the source.

Revealing that a script was in place for the third installment of the comedy franchise, the source said, 'There are very few chances of the third film happening now because of the fallout between
Rajkummar Hirani and (producer) Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It has been several years since they parted ways following the #MeToo allegations against Hirani. In fact, there was a film with the working title Munna Bhai Chale America, but that was soon shelved without any reason. The script was finalized, and the pre-production had also started, but it could not happen.'
Furthermore, several sources shared that the studio also got involved in the matter following the allegations against the filmmaker. A source from Star World confirmed the same and said, "It was decided that Fox Studios would
pull the plug on Munna Bhai 3 if Hirani was found guilty. The studio stands in solidarity with the survivor."
On the work front
Raju Hirani is currently busy working on his next big project, Dunki. It is headlined by
Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu. As for Sanjay Dutt, he was last seen in Jawan in a special appearance.
