Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress said her equation and relationship with Shah Rukh Khan go beyond being professionals and called them each other's lucky charms. Deepika Padukone also added that she is one of those few people with whom the Jawan actor can be vulnerable.

In an interview with The Week magazine, the actress opened up about how she and her Om Shanti Om co-star have developed a strong connection that goes beyond work.

Jawan marks Deepika and SRK's fifth
collaboration on screen. It all started with Om Shanti Om, and the two went on to work in some blockbuster movies like Chennai Express, Pathaan, and Happy New Year. She was also seen making a cameo in Jawan.

While Jawan is having a terrific run at the box office, almost hitting the 700 crore mark,
Pathaan saw a dream global box office collection of over 1000 crore. She was asked about her secret to delivering blockbusters whenever she is paired opposite Shah Rukh.
She said, 'I've never been fascinated by numbers, whether it was math in school or the numbers of Pathaan. I was just happy that cinemas had come alive again and that people had come alive again. I was really grateful for that."
Deepika further revealed that she didn't charge anything for her
special appearance in Jawan or any of the movies.
'I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands' glory. I watched my mother do it. It was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands' careers. Other than that, for any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with

Jawan released in cinemas on September 7 and continues to receive rave reviews. The movie also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles.
