Naureen was difficult to play than Sangeeta in `Azhar`: Prachi Desai

Actress Prachi Desai says playing Mohammad Azharuddin&39;s first wife Naureen in “Azhar” was more difficult that portraying his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani&39;s role in the biopic, played by Nargis Fakhri.
"Anybody can play Sangeeta Bijlani&39;s role but nobody can play Naureen&39;s role other than me. Naureen&39;s role was much difficult. I don&39;t think anybody could have done this role and you will realize this.
“We have a lot of actors who play glamorous part but I don&39;t think there are many who can bring out depth, maturity or variation in their role. I think that I do bring that onscreen to some extent,” Prachi told IANS.
"Azhar", a biopic on the life of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, will feature actor Emraan Hashmi in the title role.
The film, directed by Tony D&39;Souza, also features Lara Dutta and is slated to release on May 13.
Prachi says that she got the best role in the film.
“I think I hit the jackpot as I got the best role in the film. It was a huge challenge for me to play this role because I have never seen her nor read much about her,” she said.
