Four December 2023 Film Releases That Got Delayed

December 2023 is going to be a year of big film releases already. Starting with Animal and Sam Bahadur clashing with each other on December 1, the month will end with yet another blockbuster clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas in Dunki and Salar, respectively. 2023 is set to end on a high note.
However, there were many more films that were earlier announced to be releasing in the month of December but then got delayed due to many reasons. Some films decided to just stay away from the other big releases and avoid the clash that would impact overall business, while others had delays in production that pushed the release ahead.
All in all, here are four films that were supposed to release in December 2023 but got delayed:
1) Mai Atal Hoon
This much-awaited project stars Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the role of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in this biopic. The film was announced on December 25, 2022, on the birth anniversary of Vajpayee. It has been a year since the shoot of the film ended, but it got caught up in some legal issues that pushed its release.

The film is directed by Ravi Jadhav, who is a pioneer in the Marathi film industry.
2) Yodha
Another hugely exciting dream project from Dharma Productions had multiple release dates. The Sidharth Malhotra actioner was earlier planned for a July 2023 release, which got pushed to December. Recently, a new release date was announced with the release of a poster. It will now hit the theaters on March 15.
The reason for the delay is reported to be some shortcomings in the post-production that consumed some time. Apart from Sidharth, the film stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.

3) Merry Christmas
The one film that should have been released on Christmas owing to its title got delayed when a new release date was recently announced. Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Setupathi, the first poster of the film grabbed everyone`s eyeballs with its vintage style and feel.
First announced in 2021, the film was supposed to release on December 8. But, looking at the mammoth releases in the month, it was decided that it was better to avoid the clash. Rightly so, the film will now hit screens on January 12, 2024.

4) Bade Miyan, Chhote Miyan
Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan brings together action stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Its teaser, released in February 2022, gave a glimpse into its strong world of high stakes.
It was scheduled to release on Christmas 2023; however, there has been no announcement that would bring it to notice. The film has been delayed indefinitely, and fans would have to wait longer to see Tiger and Akshay hit the mark together.
