Farhan Akhtar Breaks Silence On Rumors About Kiara Advani Playing Leading Lady In Don 3

Farhan Akhtar has taken the internet by storm after he shared the announcement teaser for Don 3. The movie will be headlined by Ranveer Singh and will see a theatrical release in 2025. While the casting of Ranveer has left the internet divided, it has also intrigued fans to know who will play the female lead opposite the new Don.

Rumors suggest Kiara Advani will be stepping into Priyanka Chopra`s shoes to play the character of Roma, aka Jungli Billi. This comes after she was spotted outside Farhan Akhtar`s Excel Entertainment office. Sources close to the development revealed that Kiara had gone to meet the producers of Don 3.
While Kiara remains tight-lipped about her future projects, the filmmaker broke her silence on who will play the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh in Don 3.
"Well, it’s all work in progress. I don’t want to get ahead of myself and say something that I may have to take back for any other reason, but as and when it happens, you’ll know,” said the Rock On actor.
It is yet unsure if Kiara Advani will be playing Roma`s character or if she has been approached for some other role.
Talking about the Don 3 teaser, he said, “We just made an announcement because I do believe that it’s nice for Ranveer to have this moment where he just lets the world know that he is playing Don. People will slowly but surely start understanding what we are going to do with him, so we need a little bit of time on that.”
“We have a script, a screenplay, everything in place. There’s going to be action, thrills, and, of course, a kind of thriller story, but I think the larger enjoyment factor for the audience is that they`re going to want to see what Ranveer does with the part. That’s something we are really focused on to try and find the right kind of tonality for him,” Farhan further added.
Don 3 is expected to go on floors in 2025.

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, the actor-filmmaker threw some light on casting a female lead who can replace PeeCee as Roma in the upcoming action thriller. Farhan said he will reveal the name when the time is right.View this post on Instagram
