1) Raveena Tandon made her Bollywood debut at 16

Her first film came at the tender age of 16. After just completing two years at college, she quit education to pursue her passion for acting. As she was interning for a PR firm, a photographer noticed her and gave her the first break.

2) She adopted two girls at 21!

Again, a fact that is not known to many: Raveena took on the responsibility of raising two young girls when she was just 21. She adopted Pooja and Chhaya, who were the children of her distant cousin.

As the biological parents couldn't take care of them due to some complications, Raveena came to help.

3) Raveena Tandon and Ajay Devgan were classmates

Before they went on to star alongside each other in multiple films, Raveena Tandon and Ajay Devgn were classmates. Both of them went to the same college, Mithibai College.

4) Raveena and Akshay Kumar got engaged

In the late 90s, Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar were dating for some years after they did Mohra together. There were reports that the two even got engaged. However, they later broke off and went separate ways.

5) Raveena Tandon is a grandmother

A fact that would surprise many is that Raveena Tandon recently became a grandmother. Her adopted daughter, Chhaya, is a mother to two kids. In 2019, Chhaya gave birth to the second child, and Raveena welcomed her and hosted a puja ceremony at home.
