The 2023 G20 New Delhi Summit marked the eighteenth meeting of the group of twenty leading countries. It was held in Delhi's Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan. The summit went on from September 9 to September 10.
The G20 2023 was the first ever summit hosted by India under the leadership of
PM Narendra Modi. This year's theme was One Earth, One Family, One Future. It encouraged discussions on subjects like food security, climate conservation, digitalization, and more.
Concluding the 2023 G20 summit, PM Modi passed on the ceremonial gavel to Brazil's Prime Minister, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. He said, "I want to congratulate Brazil's president and my friend Lula da Silva and hand over the presidency's gavel to him."
On the work front
Deepika Padukone is currently soaring high on the success of her latest release, Jawan. She was seen in a special role in the
Shah Rukh Khan starrer. The movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
She will be seen next in Siddhaeth Anand's Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan, Karan Singh Grover, and Anil Kapoor. The movie is slated to release in January 2024.
