Aamir Khan and Allu Arjun`s viral pic sparks collab rumors
Bollywood and South cinema`s cross-border collaboration is the new trend, and the viewers are loving it. Last month, Aamir Khan posted a picture with Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun, which took the internet by storm. The picture sparked rumours of a potential collaboration.
Since then, fans have been wondering if the two will team up for an interesting project. Now, almost a month later, Aamir broke silence on the viral photo and revealed that the two share a great bond.
During a chat with Pinkvilla, Aamir and Allu Arjun`s photo popped up, asking the former the story behind this one. When presented with the same, Khan expressed a surprised reaction. He said the two are good friends and often meet when they`re in the same city.
The Sitaare Zameen Par actor spoke highly of the Telugu star and admired his acting talent. He even mentioned the two make efforts to catch up frequently, whether in Hyderabad or Mumbai.

“Arjun is someone I have high regard and respect for. He is an amazing actor, and we are both fond of each other. Whenever we get a chance to catch up, whether I am there in his town or he is in Mumbai, we try and catch up," Aamir said.
Reflecting on an old photo of the two, Aamir recalled it being taken by Allu Arjun`s father, Allu Aravind, on the sets of Ghajini. "Ghajini was produced by Arjun’s father. Allu Aravind. So I’d met Arjun that time," he reminisced.
Meanwhile, last year in December, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor praised Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna for their Telugu blockbuster film, Pushpa 2.
A heartfelt message was written on Aamir Khan Productions` Instagram page, which read, “Huge congratulations from AKP to the entire team of PUSHPA 2: THE RULE (9) for the blockbuster success of the film! Wishing you continued success onwards and upwards. Love. Team AKP @mythriofficial @alluarjunonline @aryasukku @rashmika_mandanna #Fahadh Faasil."
On the work front, Aamir Khan was recently seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The movie revolves around the inclusivity of differently-abled individuals and also stars Genelia D`Souza in a key role.
It released in cinemas on June 20 and has been garnering positive reviews.
