Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office: Aamir Khan`s Film Holds Strong; Crosses 75 Crore

Aamir Khan`s latest venture, Sitaare Zameen Par, is proving to be a steady ship at the box office. After a promising opening weekend, the film has successfully navigated the crucial weekday test, maintaining a solid grip on its earnings as it approaches its second weekend.
The film`s performance has been lauded by trade insiders. One expert noted on X, “#SitaareZameenPar maintains a rock-steady trend on Tuesday – the numbers are at par with Monday... Business continues to be driven by urban centres and premium properties beyond the metros – the target audience for the film.”
On Tuesday, the film registered an overall theatre occupancy of 18.87% for its Hindi version, with evening and night shows seeing higher footfalls. The movie also saw a decent response for its Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, with overall occupancy rates of 18.06% and 16.98%, respectively. Delhi NCR and Mumbai led the charge with the highest number of screenings and occupancy rates.
Sitaare Zameen Par isn`t just winning hearts in India; it`s also making a mark globally. The film`s worldwide collection has soared to ₹123 crore, with ₹33 crore coming from overseas markets. The India gross collection stood at ₹90 crore after six days.
