Daler Paaji was my competition in 1998.
There were many singer that time but Daler Paaji’s songs were on the top charts.
I wanted to be different among my competition. I always had the benefit of learning from Daler Paaji.

I use to play Guitar in Daler Paaji’s band. Daler Paaji knew I wanted to be a composer.
Daler Paaji was never my competition.
I always change my singing style with every composers song.
Pritam doesn’t come to my recordings. He just tells me to sing in my style before his songs recording.
I always help people. I have a lof of people working for me, they love me too and they also dont leave me.
People use to criticize singers having a nasal tone.Himesh bhai has a nasal tone like me.
I suggested him once to try singing that time he use to only be a composer.
I dont know whether he took my suggestion and started singing but yes he also created history with his singing.
I got my break with ‘Ae Ganpat chal daru la’ which was a unique song and I wanted to try something new and that too was a hit song.
