In the enchanting narrative of the Janapada tradition, Rama embarks upon his fourteen-year exile near the pristine banks of the Sharavati river. The citizens of his kingdom followed him with extreme sorrow. With a heartfelt plea, Rama addresses his citizens, "My beloved brothers and sisters, I implore you to return to your homes. These coming 14 years shall be my time of exile, after which I shall reunite with you." After 14 years, when Rama returned he was surprised to see a group of people awaiting for him at the banks of Sharavathi river with long hair and beards He inquires of his loyal citizens if they have patiently awaited his return throughout the 14 years. Their response comes forth: O Dear Rama you said "My beloved brothers and sisters please get back home " , but we are trans genders you never mentioned us. Touched by their devotion, Rama bestowed his blessing upon them, saying, "May your lineage thrive across the timeless expanse of Bharata."
