Mumbai based composer and producer Zain Calcuttawala aka Bulli Bainbridge has released a new single `Better Place` featuring singer songwriter Shalmali. The song is a part of his upcoming album `SEASONS` scheduled for release in January next year. Composed by Zain along with writer, photographer and art director Juhi Sharma `Better Place` relies heavily on orchestration making it a powerful ballad. With different elements sprewed into the song`s production like finger snaps, haunting strings and horns sections, add to that Shalmali`s eloquently delivered vocals and the song gets you hooked instantly. 

Zain`s upcoming album SEASONS attempts to convey the range of emotions we felt as human beings in the last two years and thus the name.  According to Zain "The was record written in lockdown through 2021 underscoring the harder existential questions we invariably asked ourselves , situations we found ourselves in, and mental health. These include the feelings of numbness, self-doubt, grief, anger, and even triumph. Drawing influences from R&B, rap, and orchestral music, each track features a different collaborator creating a wide mood and sonic palate."

He has collaborated with multiple artists on the eight track album The collaborators include Shalmali (Kholgade), Trichia Grace-Ann, Bobkat (Bombay Bassment), nushious (Second Sight), Ankit Dayal, Siddharth Basrur, Adey (Nigerian Afrobeats producer who has created beats for artists like Ycee and Dremo), and a remix by Bombay Dub Orchestra.
