Cymbol Returns with a Powerful Record ‘Awaaz Hai’ Featuring Bhrigu Parashar

New Zealand Music Producer and DJ Cymbol, an established name in the international music scene, returns with ‘Awaaz Hai’ featuring songwriter and vocalist Bhrigu Parashar. The track marks the first time Cymbol has composed, adding to his already established work as a Producer.
Cymbol’s recent work on Cocktail 2 adds another significant chapter to his India journey. He worked as one of the film’s Score Producers alongside Pritam and his team, bringing his production work into a major Bollywood project.
‘Awaaz Hai’ brings together Cymbol’s internationally influenced production with Bhrigu’s lyrics and vocals. The song sits between Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop, built around electric guitars, big drums and 808s, melodic elements and a large, sing-along chorus. The production is big and physical, while leaving room for the vocal to carry the emotion.
The music video brings Cymbol and Bhrigu Parashar together on screen, shot against the raw backdrop of an unfinished building. The setting adds to the mood of the song, reflecting the idea of emotions and thoughts that often stay within us without finding a voice. With its stark visuals, strong presence and bass-heavy sound, the video keeps the treatment edgy and contemporary while staying true to the mood of Awaaz Hai.
At its heart, Awaaz Hai is about finding your voice again. It can be heard as a story of losing yourself in another person, but it also speaks to anyone who has felt buried under expectations, outside noise or the pressure of chasing something. Even after giving pieces of yourself away, the voice that makes you who you are is still there.
Bhrigu Parashar`s involvement grew naturally from the song`s creation. He helped write the lyrics and recorded a scratch vocal that immediately connected with Cymbol. The energy in that performance was right for the record, and it became the final vocal. The collaboration has since developed into a close creative partnership. Bhrigu is the voice behind the already-viral outro of Bollywood hit ‘Duniyaa’ from Luka Chuppi, and he recently wrote and composed ‘Gaya Kaam Se’ with Armaan Malik.
‘Awaaz Hai’ follows Cymbol’s debut album ‘Distractions’ with Indian Artist Chitralekha Sen and American Rapper Markel X.L. which drew a strong organic response and landed him on the New York City billboard following its release.
With ‘Awaaz Hai’, Cymbol turns the focus back to his own music, now from his permanent base in Mumbai, with the song and official music video out worldwide.
