Actress Sonakshi Sinha who has often been subjected to heavy online trolling over her weight, her choice of films and recently over her lack of knowledge about the Ramayana on a famous television game show, took to social media recently to address the growing rate of animal abandonment amidst the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.Taking to her Instagram account, the 'Dabangg' actress posted a picture with a dog with the following caption, 'Hearing stories about people abandoning their dogs because they think the virus spreads through them. I have news for you - you are idiots and the only things you should abandon are your ignorance and inhumanity!'Earlier, Anushka Sharma and John Abraham too were among several prominent Bollywood faces to have addressed similar concerns while maintaining the stand by WHO which ascertains that there is no scientific proof to state that animals are the carriers of the virus and are actually the most immune to the deadly disease, on the contrary.On the work front, Sonakshi was in the middle of the preparations for director Reema Kagti's web series for Amazon Prime, which will also star Vijay Verma and Gulshan Devaiah.
