After enticing cine-goers with a crackling teaser, a few days back, the team of the upcoming film, 'Mission Mangal' released the power-packed trailer, earlier this afternoon.Starring a dream of a cast with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen and H.G Dattatreya, the film traces the incredible story of India's first successful space mission to Mars. The coming together of five talented leading heroines, a true story and Akshay's ability to pull in audiences makes for a winning combination at the box office, this Independence Day.Interestingly, the film has been directed by Jagan Shakti whose relative is a member at the Indian Space Research Organisation ISRO. The director spent a lot of time with his relative who helped him collate his research for the film's story. He discovered how women engineers at ISRO were instrumental for the successful launch of India's Mangalyaan. Shakti, also assisted the film's producer R.Balki on 'PadMan', and it was then that he narrated the story to both Kumar and Balki.Jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios and Hope Productions, the film's music has been rendered by Amit Trivedi.Watch the trailer below
