The two fell in love and tied the knot in 1997, shortly after Sanjay Kapoor broke up with Sushmita Sen. The star wife recently became a household name after featuring on
Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. On the show, Maheep Kapoor went on to spill many beans, including some shockers.
While everything looked like a bed of roses from outside, Sanjay and Maheep's marriage had gone through a rather testing time after the actor cheated on her. The shocking revelation was made on the Netflix show, which took the fans by surprise.

Maheep went on to add that she would have regretted having broken up with her husband back then. She is a loyalist and wanted her marriage with Sanjay Kapoor to work at any cost.
During the episode, she recalled the traumatic phase and became rather emotional. Maheep said, 'What happened (happened) 100 years ago, of course? And I want to tell you that, for me, I am grateful that we moved on. Marriage is a shade of gray. I know that for him, marriage is lifelong."
"Forgiveness? We have both forgiven each other at many stages in our lives. I have been a royal f**king b**ch. He had wanted to stab me many times. We have grown through this journey, and we've come out stronger," she further added.
Today, the actor and the jewelry designer live a happy and healthy life with their kids. The
entire Kapoor family (Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and Boney Kapoor) are a close-knit clan and enjoy celebrating festivals together.
Sanjay will be next seen in Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi, and Radhika Apte. The film is slated to release on December 8 in cinemas near you.
