Vijay Varma Slams Media For Following Malaika Arora Amid Her Father`s Death

Vijay Varma comes out in support of a greiving Malaika Arora
The internet has been shaking and quaking after learning of Malaika Arora`s father Anil Mehta`s sudden death. He jumped off to death from his Mumbai residential building on Wednesday morning. The exact reason behind the alleged suicide is yet to be investigated.
It has been a devastating time for the family. While Malaika and her sister, Amrita Arora, try to come to terms with the loss, the media, being gruesome and cruel, won`t leave a chance to zoom in cameras on the actress. Amid this, actor Vijay Varma came to her rescue.
For the uninitiated, Anil Mehta was Malaika Arora`s stepfather. According to reports, the two sisters had met him a day before he jumped off to death. His last words were, "I`m sick and tired."
He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, "Please leave the grieving family alone. It’s not easy anyway for them. Thoda toh grace rakho media walon (Have some grace media people) (folding hands emoji)."
Requesting to leave the family alone, Varma came to Malaika`s rescue, especially during the last rites of her father, Anil Mehta.
Before Vijay Varma, it was Varun Dhawan who also called out the media`s act and criticized the paparazzi for being inhumane to the Chaiyya Chaiyya actress.
Taking it to his Instagram stories, Varun wrote, "It is the most insensitive thing to point cameras in the face of people who are grieving. Please think what you people are doing or what someone is going through when you do this. I understand it is work, but sometimes another human might not be okay with this #humanity."
Sharing a heartfelt note, Malaika wrote, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time."
