Prabhas Shines in Raja Saab Trailer, To Release On This Date
Brace yourself — The Raja Saab trailer has just dropped, and it’s an intoxicating mix of scares, laughs, and mystery. The Telugu horror-comedy teases a showdown between none other than Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt in a spine-tingling haunted mansion.
The result? Your curiosity will be stuck on full throttle.
A Haunted Mansion, A Treasure, and Two Big Stars
From the very first frame, the Raja Saab trailer draws you into an eerie mansion full of dark corridors, ghostly silhouettes, and an ominous air. The setup: a long-forgotten royal property, hidden treasures, and restless spirits who will do anything to protect secrets.
Yet among the shadows, there’s room for laughs — this isn’t just horror; it’s a horror-comedy.
At the centre of it all is Prabhas playing a carefree, fun-loving guy who is head over heels for Nidhhi Agerwal’s character. But when he steps into the mansion, he’s in for much more than romance.
He’s plunged into a supernatural battle that raises the chilling question: who is the real threat here?
On the flip side, Sanjay Dutt makes his presence felt as the film’s chilling antagonist. His reveal is equal parts unsettling and magnetic: he manifests with strange powers and declares dominance over the mansion and its spectral residents.
It’s a face-off that promises fireworks — or rather, lightning, shadows, and ectoplasm.
Prabhas vs Sanjay Dutt — The Face-Off You Didn’t See Coming
One of the most exciting elements of the trailer is how it pits Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt against each other — not just in the physical realm, but in the supernatural space. Will Prabhas’ charming hero survive the malevolent twists and turns, or will Sanjay Dutt’s eerie presence consume everything?
The trailer plays with ambiguity: at times, Prabhas looks terrified; at others, he seems oddly empowered. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s character seems to toy with realms beyond human logic.
The tension between them gives Raja Saab its dramatic heartbeat. It isn’t just a hero versus villain trope — it’s a clash between human vulnerability and supernatural dominance.
That face-off is what elevates the trailer from merely spooky to thrilling.
Genre Mashup + Big Ensemble Cast
A distinct highlight is how The Raja Saab trailer blends horror tropes with comedic relief. Jump scares, gothic visuals, shifting shadows and spectral surprises exist side by side with comedic beats and goofy characters — a bold mix that keeps you guessing when to laugh and when to gasp.
The film doesn’t rest on just two stars. The cast includes Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, Yogi Babu and more, adding layers of humour, emotional depth, and dramatic heft.
The trailer also hints at surprising cameos, supernatural twists, and lots of unanswered questions – which is exactly what you want from a teaser.
Behind the camera, the film is helmed by Maruthi, with music by Haman S, cinematography by Karthik Palani, and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The movie is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla and Ishan Saksena.
Originally a Telugu film, The Raja Saab will also be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada for a pan-India release on January 9, 2026.
