SS Rajamouli`s iconic Baahubali saga, which captivated a nation and sparked countless debates, is set to return to theatres as a single, combined film titled Baahubali: The Epic. This grand re-release, combining Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, is slated for October 31, 2025.

A Decade of Cinematic Impact
The announcement arrives a decade after Baahubali: The Beginning first graced screens, changing the landscape of Indian cinema. Director SS Rajamouli himself marked this significant milestone on X (formerly Twitter), sharing an intriguing poster featuring Prabhas in his dual role as Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali. He tweeted, “Baahubali…The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.”
The official Baahubali handle also echoed the excitement, stating, “10 years ago, a question united the nation…Now the question and the answer return together in ONE grand epic. #BaahubaliTheEpic releases worldwide on October 31st, 2025.”
Remember the cliffhanger that left millions pondering, "Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?" This emotionally charged moment, which fuelled nationwide discussions, will be re-experienced on the big screen. The mystery, which was finally solved in Baahubali: The Conclusion two years later, revealed Katappa`s agonising choice, bound by a vow to protect the throne and the king, even if it meant betraying his beloved nephew, a consequence of Bhallaladeva`s manipulation.
