Netizens and movie buffs, your wait is finally over as one of the most anticipated movies, The Archies, releases today on Netflix. Bringing together an amalgamation of star kids and outsiders, the film stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda in leading roles.

For the uninitiated, Agastya is the son of Shweta Bachchan and the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. The Archies will mark his big Bollywood debut alongside Suhana Khan (daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan) and Khushi Kapoor (Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's younger daughter).

Amidst the promotions and premiere of The Archies, Agastya Nanda opened up about why he is not on social media. The reason will leave you in splits.

Agastya Nanda shares the real reason why he isn't on Instagram

While most of his co-stars are active on Instagram, the star kid prefers to stay low-key and away from it. In an interview with NDTV India, along with the cast of The Archies, Agastya opened up about why he prefers being away from Instagram.

He said what to post, which angle to take the picture from, how to maintain an aesthetic feed, etc. would stress him out. He then thought of doing some cool and arsty thing, even though he is far from creative.

'I did some cool collage and posted it. I thought this was my big reveal I have arrived. I am going to make a public account, and people are going to follow me. But people started unfollowing me,' Agastya revealed.

He further said that when his account was private, Agastya had about 800 followers. After making it public, initially, he reached around 20,000 followers. However, after the collage episode, the actor's Instagram following went down to 500.

"So I avoid it. It's best that I stay away," Nanda further added.

It seems Suhana was a witness to Agastya's disastrous collage post. Adding to Agastya Nanda's comment, she said, 'Nobody liked your collage.'

He further went on to reveal, "My family was sending me articles because Suhana, my very great friend, commented on a post saying 'Unfollowing'. And someone commented, saying, 'This is rubbish.' It made news: 'Agastya Nanda's Instagram reveal fails.' So that's why, guys, I'm not on social media."

The Bachchan star kid did mention that he has a fake Instagram account, which he uses to watch reels.

The Zoya Akhtar directorial brings together an ensemble of newcomers who are all set to impress you with their fresh take on storytelling. The Archies is a Hindi adaptation of the popular American comic book, which goes by the same name.

The movie marks Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor's glorious Bollywood debuts. On Tuesday, the who's who of Bollywood gathered together at NMACC for a special premiere of The Archies.

The fictional drama releases on December 7 on Netflix.
