Rohit Shetty is back with another film in his cop universe. After the two parts of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, the fourth installment will see
Deepika Padukone enter the police world. The makers revealed the poster for the film on Sunday.
Deepika shared the poster on her handle and wrote, "Introducing...Shakti Shetty!". To that end,
Ranveer Singh won everyone's heart with his comment, "Aag laga degi." Deepika looks intense in the poster in her all-new avatar.
In the poster, Deepika Padukone is seen hitting a gangster with her gun as she gives a wicked smile while looking at the camera. In another poster, she is seen with the gun covering half of her bloodied face, and she gives the same menacing chuckle. This is the first time that a female cop will be entering the series after Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
In the film's announcement post four weeks ago, Rohit Shetty shared a picture of Ranveer and Ajay starting the shoot with a pooja.
In the caption, he wrote, "Singham, Singham returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi... 12 years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again... the 5th film in our cop franchisee. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!"

MEET THE MOST BRUTAL AND VIOLENT OFFICER OF OUR COP UNIVERSEhellip SHAKTI SHETTY... MY LADY SINGHAMhellip DEEPIKA PADUKONE".
As his description promises, Deepika Padukone is the most violent of all the cops in the universe. She has an almost maniacal appeal and looks absolutely stunning in uniform.
Rohit Shetty's last film release was Circus, which was a major flop at the box office. He is all set to come back with Singham Again, which is scheduled to release on Independence Day 2024.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Jawan and Pathaan. She will next be playing the role of a pilot in Fighter, which is set to release on January 25, 2023.
