Seeti Maar Song: New track from Salman’s Radhe cannot escape the inevitable comparison with the Allu Arjun original

Earlier on Monday afternoon, the makers of Salman Khan’s upcoming Eid release ‘Radhe’ dropped the first song from its soundtrack. A recreation of the Telugu chartbuster track from superstar Allu Arjun’s 2017 film, ‘DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham’, ‘Seeti Maar’, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who also worked upon the original track, has been sung by Kamaal Khan and Iulia Vantur. Featuring Khan and co-star Disha Patani, the song includes some sleek moves, choreographed by Jani with a winning signature step for Khan. But fans can’t help but express their disappointment over how Khan’s dancing pales in comparison to Arjun’s effortless groove. Directed by Prabhudeva, ‘Radhe’ also stars Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The film will release this Eid on May 13, 2021 with a pay-per-view digital release on Zee Plex and a theatrical release across international markets.
