Salman Khan`s Body Double Sagar Pandey Dies While Working Out Due To A Cardiac Arrest

More than actors, it is their Bollywood body doubles who work harder. While they give in everything for one shot, they hardly get any respect. Unfortunately in this brutal industry, they`re not known by their names but are associated with the lookalike actors. Speaking of body doubles, Salman Khan`s body double Sagar Pandey passed away on September 30 after he collapsed while working out in the gym.
Sagar Pandey was working out in a gym when he had a sudden heart attack. Confirming the news, Shah Rukh Khan`s popular body double Prahsant Walde said, “Sagar was working in the gym when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately taken to Hindu Hruday Samrat Balasaheb Thackerey Trauma Care Municipal Hospital at Jogeshwari East, Mumbai. That’s where he was declared dead.”
He further added, “I am quite shocked. He was perfectly fit and healthy. He was too young to pass away. His age must have been around 45-50 years.” In an interview, Sagar Pandey got candid about his struggles to fit into the industry, especially during the deadly pandemic. While he earned a decent amount from acting in Salman Khan movies, his major income was from stage shows.
Originally hailing from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Sagar came to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. However, he settled for becoming a body double after he failed to get any work as an actor. He started off his career as Samlan`s body double from 1996 release Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He went on to work as the actor`s body double in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tubelight, Dabangg franchise, and more. Sagar has worked in over 50 movies as Salman Khan`s duplicate.
