Alia Bhatt is currently gleaming and basking the success of her professional and personal lives. From giving a massive hit like Brahmastra to awaiting her first baby, the actress seems to living her dream life. Alia, who is currently pregnant with her husband Ranbir Kapoor`s child, was seen working throughout her pregnancy. From promoting her latest release to launching her maternity wear brand, depsite shattering stereotypes, the actress still gets questioned about whether she`ll make a comeback post her delivery or not.
Well, while you all have been curious about the same, we have got some exclusive scoop for you. While daddy-to-be Ranbir Kapoor wants wifey Alia Bhatt to resume work as soon as possible, the latter has some different plans.
A source close to the couple revealed Alia`s post-deliver plans on making a comeback to the movies and said, "Alia Bhatt is in no rush to get back to work as she is in a super-secured space. Right now she wants to focus on her personal life more especially after having her baby. Her excitement is at its peak and hence she has decided to take a good long break after the arrival of the baby. You might get surprised but Alia will take a sabbatical for at least one year and only then resume work. As she has a few releases and has completed the shooting of the same."
The Kapoors and Bhatts recently came together to host a baby shower for the Brahmastra actress and the pictures were screaming of pure bliss and undying love. The couple who tied a knot earlier this year announced their pregnancy rather too soon and were brutally trolled for announcing the good news. Alia`s sister Shaheen Bhatt slammed the trolls and asked them to leave the parents-to-be alone.
The source further revealed, "But that doesn`t mean she will not be out and about. She has her brands Edamama, kids wear and maternity wear plus her endorsements will continue. But nothing that will keep her away from home for longer hours for the initial few months."
