Yodha actress Raashii Khanna appeared in an interview recently after the release of her aforementioned film. The film received a lukewarm response at the box office, racking up a collection of about 34 crores since the film premiered. Although the on-screen chemistry between the film's married couple, Raashii Khanna and Sidharth Malhotra, garnered praise from the audience, the actress revealed that such was not the case behind the screen.

Raashii Khanna reveals her relationship with co-star Sidharth: "We aren't great friends"

Talking about her off-screen chemistry with Yodha actor Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii said that they don't talk much outside of work. She stated, 'I'm an introverted person just like him. We aren't great friends. It's not like we're buddies, or we talk all the time.' Raashii said that they maintain professional distance from each other, often preferring to keep to themselves between takes. She added, 'We share a good and respectful co-star relationship. During the shoot, we would keep to ourselves. There wasn't really any ice to break. When I met him, I thought he was my type. He also felt like I was his type, since we're both introverts. And so, we never tried to encroach on each other's spaces.'

Raashii added that they had very few things to connect to each other with, one of them being Delhi. The actress said, 'We also share the Delhi connection. But the only thing 'Delhi' about us is our accent. He asked me, 'Tu Dilli se hai?' After that, we had some conversations about the same city. He also reads, and so I had some conversations on books with him and about films in general.'

Talking about how the actors presented such good on-screen chemistry, the actress mentioned that both the actors knew their job and did it well. She said, 'We understand the craft. We know what's required of us as actors every time a love song comes our way. I knew that we look good on-screen, but I couldn't have imagined that we would get such an amazing response from the audience. They loved us together. It's great that it worked.'

Raashii was last seen in the film Yodha, starring alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. This film marked the actress' comeback to Bollywood after 11 years. Her first Bollywood film was Madras Cafe, which starred John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri. Previously, Raashii was also seen in some OTT web series, including Rudra and Farzi. Next, Raashii will be seen in the upcoming movie 'The Sabarmati Report', starring Vikrant Massey.
