Jaat Box Office Collection Day 5
Sunny Deol`s latest action venture, Jaat, co-starring Randeep Hooda, has been navigating the box office waters since its release on April 10, 2025. After a promising surge over its first weekend, the film`s performance showed a typical weekday dip, yet it continues its steady march towards a significant milestone in the domestic market. Let`s delve into its performance so far.
Here’s a breakdown of Jaat`s day-wise collection in India:
Day 1 (Thursday): 9.5 crores
Day 2 (Friday): 7 crores
Day 3 (Saturday): 9.75 crores
Day 4 (Sunday): 14 crores
Day 5 (Monday): 7.5 crores (Early Estimates)
After five days, the film`s total net collection stands at approximately INR 47.75 crores. It also registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 16.26% on Day 5, with Chennai leading at 94.25%. While not matching the phenomenal success of Gadar 2, Jaat is holding its ground and is poised to cross the INR 50 crore benchmark soon.

In its first five days, the film collected roughly USD 367,382, falling significantly short of its break-even target of around USD 1.4 million. Analysts predict it might only recover 35-40% of its target, potentially leading to substantial losses for overseas buyers who acquired the film on a Minimum Guarantee basis. The film appears to lack the strong emotional connection and nostalgia that propelled Gadar 2.

Addressing discussions around the film`s title before its release, Sunny Deol stated, according to PTI, “People get sensitive when you talk about (labelling films). We should not be talking about all these things. At the end of the day, we love everyone and are loved by everyone. We represent the whole country. So it is not like we are trying to uplift or downgrade anybody. There is nothing like that.”
As Jaat continues its run, its domestic performance remains key. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has several major projects lined up, including Border 2, Ramayan, and Lahore 1947.
