While 9.5 crore is a decent opening day collection, it falls short when compared to Sunny Deol’s previous film, "Gadar 2", which had a monumental opening of 40 crore in 2023. Even Salman Khan’s recent release, "Sikandar", despite receiving negative reviews, managed to earn 26 crore on its opening day (March 30). "Gadar 2" went on to become a massive success, raking in 691 crore over its lifetime.
Jaat is not just about Sunny Deol’s powerful presence. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast including Randeep Hooda, who plays the antagonist, Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, and many others. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie is backed by the production houses People Media Factory and Mythri Movie Makers, with producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Naveen Yerneni, and Y.
