The Ayan Mukherji movie Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Along with Alia and Ranbir, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy will also be seen in the movie. The film will hit the theaters on Sep 9, 2022.

The first part of the movie will tell us about the journey of Shiva and Isha whereas the second part of the journey will be about two other characters - Mahadev and Parvathy. For the second part of the story, Ayan Mukerji is possibly in talks with Deepika Padukone and Hritik Roshan for the roles of Parvathy and Mahadev.

According to a source, 'the character of Mahadev requires a certain aura, which comes naturally to Hrithik. He is the first choice for this modern mythology, however, Ayan and co. are yet to hear back from Hrithik. He has loved the character and the world of Ayan, and is expected to make an informed decision soon on his involvement in the film."

On the work front, Hrithik has many films in his pipeline including Vikram Vedha, Krrish 4, War 2, Ramayana, and Fighter which will also star Deepika Padukone. The actress will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan.

If things go well then Brahmastra 2 will mark the second collaboration of Hrithik and Deepika after Fighter.
