Ranbir Kapoor's controversial comment about having twins with wife Alia Bhatt was a cherry on top amidst the couple's pregnancy news. The infamous Bollywood couple tied a knot earlier this year followed by a rather shocking announcement of Alia's pregnancy. While some say its a promotional activity, others can't keep calm knowing there will be an addition to Karan Johar's list of nepotism.

Anyway, coming back to the topic, in a fun 'Two Truths, One Lie' segment while promoting his latest release Shamshera, Ranbir jokingly said he's expecting twins. 'I am going to have twins, I am going to be a part of a big mythological film, and I am going to take a long break from work,' said the father-to-be.

It wouldn't be a surprise that the mom-to-be was asked the about her husband's speculative comment during her the promotions of her Netflix debut Darlings.She had a complete different outlook to the scenario. Addressing these rumours during an interviw with Siddharth Kannan, she said, 'Baby! Singular please!'


She further added, "He only said that as a joke in some reel. Unhone apne hi pair pe khulaadi mar li (he only created a foot in the mouth situation). Clearly, we have a dearth of information and news, because this has become a news item now. But right now, the world should just pray for health, happiness, and goodness for me and Ranbir.'
