GOAT Movie Spoiler Alert: MS Dhoni, Trisha Make A Rare Cameo In Vijay`s Film

For the uninitiated, Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) is headlined by Vijay. The film also stars Raghava Lawrence, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Prabhudeva, among others, in pivotal roles.
Despite the stellar star cast, what made fans go berserk were two special cameos that nobody expected. Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Tamil actress Trisha Krishnan`s special appearances were a visual treat for every moviegoer.

It is the last thing that one would expect from MS Dhoni in a Tollywood movie. Yes, you read that right. The former Indian captain makes a rare special appearance in the film. In the scene, he`s seen stepping out on the field dressed in the bright yellow Chennai`s jersey.
We then see a typical South Indian element of action where Vijay is seen pulling off some gravity-defying bike stunts that will leave you gasping. The bike heads full speed towards the stadium where Dhoni is playing.
The brief scene left fans going crazy as they saw Thala and Thalapathy in the same frame. Moviegoers were also thrilled to see Ponniyin Selvan fame Trisha Krishnan in a guest role for one of the songs in the film.

Thalapathy Vijay`s action drama has garnered mixed reviews. Some call the first half exciting, while others say the twists were rather predictable. However, one thing that remains constant is that the film is a mass entertainer.Many fans who went for GOAT`s first day first show (FDFS) took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared their reviews.

However, some fans were left disappointed with the much-hyped film, calling the first half a `snoozefest.` One user took to the microblogging site and wrote, "The first half is a snoozefest. Vijay`s star power can`t save the sluggish plot. Needs a major turnaround in the 2nd half."

All in all, while the film may have garnered mixed reviews, fans are in awe of Thalapathy Vijay`s performance and the intense action sequences.
