The dust may have settled on the box office run of `Game Changer`, but a recent interview has stirred a fresh storm. Producers Dil Raju and Shirish are now facing the heat from `Mega` fans after Shirish made comments about star Ram Charan. The remarks, suggesting a lack of communication post the film`s failure, led to a swift apology and clarification from the producers.
As the backlash grew online, Shirish quickly issued a public apology to quell the anger. He clarified that his words were misunderstood and expressed deep regret. “Global Star Ram Charan gave us his full time and support for the film `Game Changer`. We have had a close relationship with Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu`s family for many years,” his statement read. He emphasised that there was no intention to harm the reputation of the Mega family and concluded, “If my words have hurt anyone`s feelings... please forgive me.”

While the producers deal with the fallout, Ram Charan has already focused his attention on his upcoming films, including `Peddi` with Janhvi Kapoor and another project reuniting him with `Rangasthalam` director Sukumar.
A Comment Sparks Controversy
Months after the Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer failed to impress at the box office, the film is back in the headlines. He mentioned that neither director Shankar nor Ram Charan called them after the movie`s underperformance. Before Shirish`s formal apology, his cousin and co-producer Dil Raju stepped in to manage the situation. He explained that it was Shirish’s first time addressing the media, and he became emotional while discussing the immense financial strain they faced. Raju defended his brother, stating, “Shirish is close to Charan.
