A day of filming for the upcoming period drama `The India House` took a dramatic and dangerous turn as a massive water tank burst on set, causing extensive flooding and leading to injuries among the crew. The film, which marks the production debut of global star Ram Charan, stars Nikhil Siddhartha and is being filmed near Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
A video capturing the immediate aftermath of the accident has since gone viral on social media. The footage shows the significant scale of the damage, with crew members wading through knee-deep water, scrambling to salvage expensive equipment and props from the deluge. The visuals have sparked widespread concern from fans and industry colleagues about the safety protocols on set.
While most reports confirm the injuries, the Shamshabad police have stated they had not received any official information regarding the incident at the time of reporting. It also remains unclear whether lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha was present on the set when the accident happened. As of now, the production team has not released an official statement detailing the extent of the damage or the condition of the injured crew members.
"What was supposed to be just another day of filming turned into a scene of real-life chaos on the sets of the much-awaited period drama The India House," a source close to the production commented. The sudden flood not only halted the shoot but has also cast a shadow over the much-anticipated project.

What Happened?
The incident occurred while the crew was shooting a scene requiring a sea backdrop, for which a large, specially constructed water tank was in use. According to sources, the tank unexpectedly gave way, unleashing a powerful torrent of water that inundated the set.
