Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their first pregnancy. The RamLeela couple, who tied the knot in 2018, are expecting their first child five years after their wedding.
On Leap Day, February 29, the couple took to Instagram and shared the exciting news. Several celebrities, like Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, and more, congratulated the
parents-to-be, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Even their fans were taken by surprise and didn't hold back from showering love in the comment section. Amidst this, fans greeted the couple with flowers at the airport.

After announcing their pregnancy on Instagram, the couple were spotted at the airport twinning in white. On Thursday night, as the two made their way to the airport, fans greeted Ranveer and Deepika with flowers.
Paparazzi captured the warm gesture from fans and saw a big smile on the mommy-to-be's face. As soon as the fans greeted them with flowers and sweets, Deepika Padukone exclaimed, "How sweet!"

the Pathaan actress's love for children. She has always wanted to have a family. If not an actor, she says she would be a homemaker in a house bustling with kids.
In an old interview, she was asked about her thoughts on embracing motherhood. Smiling from ear-to-ear, Deepika said she is eagerly looking for that phase and that it will happen when it has to.
"Motherhood trumps being married. That's what I hear from people who have had children. Of course, it will happen at some point, but no, I think it is unfair to put women through that or a couple through that. I guess the day we stop asking the questions is when we will bring about change," DP added.
