This year will end with a bang, thanks to Shah Rukh Khan's new movie, Dunki. The movie was released on Thursday, and it has already taken the internet by storm. While some are praising Dunki for its storyline, others are falling in love with SRK all over again.

Dunki marked the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. The latter has created some masterpieces like Munna Bhai MBBS, 3 Idiots, and Sanju, among others. Adding yet another feather to his hat, Dunki became his first ever movie to release in five different languages.

According to Sacnilk, a leading box office collection police, the latest release will see an opening of 30 crores in all five languages. After giving two back-to-back monstrous hits, it will be interesting to see how Shah Rukh will be headlining this one.

Dunki storyline

Shhah Rukh Khan became an achor for an already sinking ship called Bollywood amidst all the boycott and backlash. After disrupting the box office with Jawan and Pathaan, he is back with yet another interesting film.

Dunki, which means a donkey who often hovers around only to find its way back home, was released on December 21. Alongside SRK, it also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, and Dia Mirza in prominent roles.

Dunki is the story of six best friends who hail from a small town in Punjab. They struggle to go to London after their visa is rejected. Amidst the tumultuous situations and geopolitical conditions, the six superstars decide on a plan to cross borders and reach their dream destination.

While the trailer for Dunki doesn't give out much, it leaves you wanting for more. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial is already garnering some incredible reviews on Twitter.
