Popular television actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, along with their young son Ruhaan, recently captured hearts with snapshots from their family vacation in the breathtaking landscapes of Jammu and Kashmir.
However, joy turned to concern among their fans when news surfaced about a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a place the family had visited just days prior. Thankfully, the couple swiftly clarified they were safe, having left the region before the tragic incident occurred.
Given these recent updates featuring the picturesque location, often dubbed ‘Mini Switzerland’, fans grew increasingly anxious when reports of the terror attack emerged from the same area. The outpouring of messages highlighted the strong connection fans feel with the celebrity couple.
Understanding the growing worry, Shoaib quickly took to social media to provide an update and reassure everyone. On Tuesday, he posted an Instagram Story confirming their well-being and explaining their timely departure.
He wrote, “Hi guys, U all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain theek hain, aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir... (We all are safe, we left Kashmir this morning), and we reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern.. New vlog coming soon." Further updates confirmed the family later reached Mumbai safely.

Tragically, at least twenty-six people, mostly civilians, were reportedly killed in the attack, with around twenty others injured. Security forces immediately responded, and high-level security meetings were convened, attended by officials, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Resistance Front (TRF), believed to be an offshoot of the Pakistan-based terror group Laskhar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the attack.
While Dipika, Shoaib, and Ruhaan are now safe and back from their travels, the incident cast a shadow over what was a memorable family trip.
