Deepika Padukone Is Surely Playing Ranbir`s Mother Amrita In Brahmastra, Fans Share Clip As Proof

Ayan Mukerji`s Brahmastra had a spectacular opening across the globe. With many thoeries brewing about the movie`s hidden stars who will portray Jal Astra and Dev`s roles, fans have come up with a proof which confirms Deepika Padukone is definitely an integral part of the mythology-thriller. After seeing a celebratory success in its theatrical release, Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva had its OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. While movie buffs showered immense love, they also witnessed something that was shocking.
There have been rumors that Deepika Padukone made a quick cameo in the first part of Brahmastra as Ranbir Kapoor`s mother. Her character Amrita is also the Jal Astra. Rumor mill also reported that Ranveer Singh was roped in to play the role of Dev. However, for people who saw the movie in 2D, Deepika`s cameo was a blink and miss. But those who saw in IMAX claimed they clearly spotted the actress in the movie playing Amrita.
Now that the movie is out on OTT platform, her cameo can be clearly confirmed. Viewers and fans have been sharing clips from that particluar scene where Deepika appears holding baby Ranbir. Her face is visible as she leans towards the window. That`s exactly when lightning flashes, showing a glimpse of Amrita`s character in the movie.

Meanwhile, reports suggest Hrithik Roshan declined the role of Dev as he will be focusing on his superhero franchise Krrissh 4. Makers have approached Ranveer Singh and Vijay Deverakonda to fill in the leading role in Brahmastra Part 2: Dev. Along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the mythology-thriller also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
