Animal trailer is out and has greatly aroused the excitement of fans. This new glimpse into the violent and complex world of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has given everyone so much to wait for.

TheAnimal trailer begins with an extended scene between Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, who plays his father in the film. Ranbir's cousin, Arjun, asks his father to act like him and switch roles for a moment. For the time being, Ranbir becomes his father, while his father acts like his son. The way this scene plays out sends you into an uncomfortable territory not usually seen in Indian films.

The trailer progresses and shows the transformation of Ranbir from an innocent chap to a bloodthirsty criminal who can kill even his wife if it means saving his father. There is a lot of bloodshed, fighting, and a whole lot of intensity shown by Ranbir's top-notch performance.

The duration of the Animal trailer is over 3 and a half minutes, and it is filled with absolute mayhem, acting as an extension of the menace that the teaser was. We get to see more of Bobby Deol here, although a lot of it is still shrouded in mystery. All in all, Animal promises to be a riveting action drama about a troubled relationship between a father and son.

It ends with Bobby Deol chilling atop Ranbir Kapoor's body as he lights a cigarette and sighs away the smoke. The background music present throughout helps build a terrifying world for the film.

Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With Animal, he seems to be going to a greater extent in exploring hyper-masculinity that is provoked by a toxic bond. It is even more violent, more gripping, and all the more bloody.

In an announcement made yesterday, Sandeep told everyone that Animal has received an 'A' certificate from the censors and has a whooping runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes. Such a long runtime is unprecedented in recent times, especially in Bollywood.

However, the bigger runtime has only excited fans further who just don't mind sitting in the theater and seeing Ranbir Kapoor in that beastly mode as he unleashes terror on screen.

Animal is all set to release on December 1, where it will clash with Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
