This year is lined up with some exciting movies filled with action, drama, romance, music, and everything in between. One of the highly anticipated films of 2024, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, has just dropped its trailer, and fans cannot keep calm.

Headlined by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the movie is a remake of the 1990s cult classic, which goes by the same name. The original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in titular roles.

As the movie comes closer to its release date, the makers took the internet by storm as they unveiled the trailer for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. From the looks of it, the upcoming action-drama looks like an out-and-out entertainer.

The upcoming film offers a unique mix of high-octane action sequences, an entertaining equation between the two leading men, glamorous dance sequences at exotic locations, and everything that a Bollywood buff could ask for.

While the film has nothing similar to the original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan apart from its title, what remains common between the two is the friendship element, with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff replacing Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.

While the veteran actors played cops in the 1990s classic, the new-age heroes will be seen donning a soldier's uniform and are on a mission to stop a vengeful masked villain who is on a mission to destroy the country using AI as a tool.

Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the bad guy in the film, who is a psycopath on a run to create chaos in India. This is the actor's second Bollywood film after Aiyyaa.

The over-three-minute trailer is power-packed with intense action and hard-hitting dialogue. Akshay and Tiger's equation takes center stage, thus adding yet another pair to the Bollywood bromance list.

The trailer ends with the duo saying, 'Hum dono ek dusre ke liye jaan de sakte hain, par ek dusre ki jaan le bhi sakte hain (We can kill for each other, but we can also kill each other).'

The south superstar has a massive upcoming movie titled The Goat Life, which releases on March 28. Prithviraj showed his co-star the trailer for his next project and left him thrilled.

'I took away lots of things from him. Prithvi has a Malayalam film coming out called The Goat Life. He showed me the trailer, and I remember telling him that whenever there's a trial show, he should let me know,' Akshay Kumar said.

Though he is usually not seen in any film's premiere or screening, the OMG 2 actor is looking forward to breaking his streak with The Goat Life.

'I usually don't go to trial shows, but I really want to watch his film. This man has worked on this film for about two-three years,' he said. To which Sukumaran interrupted and corrected him, saying that the work on the upcoming South Indian film has been going on for over 16 years.

A shocked Akshay then added, 'He has worked on that film for 16 years! It's unbelievable! Kya kar rahe the itne saal tum log? I can't even work for 16 months at a stretch. But hats off to him! He's lovely, and he has been really inspiring. He took over a role and has been with it for such a long period of time.'
