Bhool Bhulaiyaa director Anees Bazmee has finally answered the million-dollar question. Will
Akshay Kumar be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3? Replying to the same, he confirmed we won't see the Khiladi actor in the third installment. However, he has brought Vidya Balan on board.
The third part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa will see Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan team up for the first time on the big screen. The actress played the OG Monjulika in the very first part of the thriller-comedy.

In an interview with Zoom, the filmmaker opened up about whether Akshay would be a part of his upcoming project and his future plans for working with the actor.

"No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In the future, certainly yes," said Bazmee.
He further revealed the first date for shooting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is likely to be March 10. However, Anees added that he hasn't finalized the date yet.

For the uninitiated, the Parineeta actress was the leading lady in Bazmee's 2007 release. She played the OG Monjulika, who scared the shit out of everyone. Her acting was beyond impressive and proved that she can ace any character.
Now, the filmmaker and the actress have teamed up yet again. Bazmee shed some light on working with Vidya again after Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Thank You.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will now see Kartik and Vidya coming together to continue the legacy of the franchise. On Monday, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor welcomed his new co-star by sharing a post on Instagram.
He wrote, "And it's happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. I am super thrilled to welcome @balanvidya. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 @aneesbazmee @tseries.official #BhushanKumar."
